Week 2 of My Abs Diet Experienceby Heather Long | More from this Blogger 04 May 2006 11:30 AM I've been talking about how the Abs Diet and my experiences with it. This week I'm stepping it up a notch. I'm adding in the exercises specifically recommended by David ZincZenko's guide. I wanted to share with you some specifics of my success so far. First and foremost, my cravings do not exist. I am a skeptic by nature so it's hard for me to sit back and just accept anything at face value. However, my experiences in the last two weeks are really making this a reality for me. I have modified my diet to make sure I have 2 or 3 of the power foods in my meals and I am eating five to six meals a day. I lost five pounds within the first 10 days and that's a really decent weight loss for me, especially since my weight loss seemed to have plateau'd for quite a while. I have also all but given up my Starbuck's mocha habit. I am not too proud to admit that no matter what I have done in the past, I've not been able to shake my addiction to Starbuck's mochas. It was definitely an addiction, because even when it was a financial burden, I'd spend money on it. When you realize that the average mocha costs about $5 a piece and I bought a minimum of one per day - well, you do the math. Since I started the Abs Diet, I have discovered that not only do I not crave them - I don't really want them when they are available. I picked up one today to test the theory (it's been five days since the last mocha I went out seeking) and I drank a few swallows and then threw it away. By eliminating my craving for mochas, I've eliminated a huge pothole in my road to altering my dietary lifestyle. I couldn't be happier at the moment unless I won the lottery. In less than 2 weeks, following the Abs Diet recommendations and guidelines has provided me with hope, inspiration and motivation to proceed. I'm not ready to sign off and say the Abs Diet is 100% successful, but I've found more success with this method than with other methods that I have tried! So give me a moment to say WOO HOO for me! And I look forward to woo hooing the rest of you too! Learn more about Heather Long ![]() Heather Long is 35 years old and currently lives in Wylie, Texas.
