Sleep, Flu and Chinese Food

I just read Pam’s blog post that mentions the importance of sleep with losing weight. I completely support this notion, or should I say that all of the studies I have been reading lately support this. Lack of sleep wrecks havoc with your body, especially when you get older, and the newest research even links lack of it to belly fat. I was just mentioning this fact my husband. Swine Flu Scare and Weight Loss?

What a week the past one has been. Early in the week, I started fighting some intestinal bug. I had to skip the workouts for a couple of days due to stomach cramps and an overall weakness. I suppose the fact that I was living basically on ginger-ale and graham crackers and not keeping much of that in my body probably compensated for the downtime in exercise.
