Seeing Results and Staying Motivated

A friend asked me a very important question that I’d like to address: “What are some ways I can keep myself motivated when I’m not seeing results?” I’ve mentioned this many times before but I think it bears repeating over and over again. Looking For My Waist: Two Steps Forward?

I am doing better than I was just a few days ago. I hung in there with the good habits I had started, and I am actually craving healthy foods. I love salad… but somehow restaurant salads taste a lot better. The good habits include eating ridiculous amounts of vegetables and fiber filled foods. Looking for my Waist: Two Steps Back

I worked hard last week, with my eating, that is. I ate lots of vegetables. Tons of fruit. I kept my sweets and carbs to a minimum. Yet, I gained weight again. My husband says that this is a temporary setback. He says that I am eating too healthy to not lose weight. He says that my body will get used to it and the weight will begin to fall off.
