I'm Tired of Thinking About...

by Richele McFarlin

25 Feb 2012 05:19 PM

Are you tried? Can you relate to this? I'm tired of thinking about how tired I am when it comes to losing weight. I'm tired of thinking about losing weight. I'm tired of thinking about how many calories I have consumed in a day.

If it wasn't for those chocolate chips....

If it wasn't for those chocolate chips, I would not have eaten too much sugar today. If it wasn't for those chocolate chips, I would have stayed on my diet today. If it wasn't for those chocolate chips, my workout would have counted for something more than burning off half a chocolate chip.

Well a dieters worst nightmare or biggest dream depending on how you look at it. I have 1992 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies in my living room. Come on this is crazy! I thought I was doing really good only 5 cookies so far until 2 days ago.

Today I am cheating. I am taking a little more wiggle room than Jell-O would allow yet I am cheating the system more so than on my diet. Today, I am going to have my cake and eat it too. Sometimes you just have to do that. Fall is my favorite time of year.

by Catherine Ipcizade

Weight loss isn't easy. It's not fun. It's not instant-well, not the kind that sticks anyhow. I've been reading the blogs lately about weight loss journeys, and I must say I've found a common theme: The Roller Coaster Theme. Weight is up. Weight is down. Weight is back up again.

Diary of an Overweight Mom-Blonde Ambitions

by Catherine Ipcizade

I'm sitting here at my computer with my hair mounded on top of my head in some weird alien-like fashion. I've got Light Beige Blonde hair dye on and I'm slowly watching the clock as the minutes tick by.

Diary of an Overweight Mom-It's All a Dance

by Catherine Ipcizade

A few days ago, a friend told me that this whole weight loss thing is ..."all a dance." I thought about what she'd said, and by George I think she's got it! Weight loss IS a dance. Sometimes you salsa and sometimes you waltz. And sometimes you simply stand still. I was doing great for a few weeks.

Diary of an Overweight Mom: Progress!

by Catherine Ipcizade

Well, we're a week into the New Year-resolutions have been made and countless ones have undoubtedly already been broken-but not mine. I resolved to finally lose my excess weight in 2007 and so far I'm staying on track. To do this, I had to decide which "route" I wanted to take.

Diary of an Overweight Mom: Sometimes You've Got To Bake a Cheesecake

by Catherine Ipcizade

Okay-here's a thought-making cheesecake is NOT the best idea if you're trying to avoid calories. But with the holidays and my parents coming into town, all reason was thrown to the wind, and I found myself in the kitchen on Friday making the creamiest cheesecake I could invent.
