By definition, I am following a diet.

Not only am I a diet struggler extraordinaire, I am a homeschooling mom. As such, I write unit studies and have my children engage in vocabulary exercises and teach dictionary skills. They’re everywhere! First Lady Michelle Obama has bared her toned biceps, triceps and shoulders at several Inaugural Balls, on the covers of Vogue and People, at her husband’s first televised address to Congress and in her official White House photograph. We’ve Got A Grazer On Our Hands

This past week, my toddler has developed a new habit. He’s turned into a little snacker, or as I like to call it, he’s been “grazing.” I never had a problem with this routine when it came to eating. He typically eats breakfast, a morning snack, lunch, an afternoon snack, and dinner. But lately he’s been particularly picky at meal time, eating like a bird, and then he repeatedly asking for snacks in between meals and scheduled snack times. Help, I Hate Breakfast!

Breakfast does not have to include eggs, bacon, cereal, oatmeal or any of the traditional breakfast fair. Breakfast has always been an especially challenging time for me because I dislike most breakfast foods. If I never ate a scrambled egg again I would not miss it.
