So here we are, 3 weeks into my diet – or weight loss program as they seem to want to call it these days, different name, same uphill struggle – and it’s time for another weigh-in report. Oil: How Much is Enough?

Lately, have you thought about the amount of oil in your diet? According to the USDA, much of our oil intake can be found in the foods we consume. The recommended daily allowance varies based on an individual’s age, sex, and degree of exercise. For example, a woman between the ages of 31-50 should consume five teaspoons of oil. A man in this age group should consume six teaspoons.
