Akavar 20/50: Eat All You Want And Still Lose Weight

I saw this on the shelf in a store yesterday and finally gave in. After trying to read all the labels for about 20 minutes, I gave up and put it in my cart. The best way to find out about these things is just to try them so I am. I'll be posting the details here for your benefit over the next 22 days.

The television commercials and magazine ads make great use of the big, bold phrase "Eat all you want and still lose weight..." Instinct tells me that any product that makes claims like that really is too good to be true and is likely just another form of prettily packaged snake oil. But vanity calls. Against my better judgment I spent the $35 and will give this product the three weeks that one bottle will support.

Today I want to tell you about the packaging. With bright orange, pink and yellow on a black box, it can't help but get your attention. In case you didn't notice, there is also a hottie in a bathing suit that has the perfect proportions that we all wish for. They sure set up this box to sell! (She's probably never used this product, or needed a diet product, in her life but the subconscious message is there that you too could look like this if you use the product.

As I said, I spent about 20 minutes in the store reading the packaging. I had to do an inordinate amount of squinting. Maybe it was just that my contacts were bothering me, but the text on the package seemed a bit too small to not be suspect. After all my reading, I discovered that I'll need to take a total of four capsules per day so the 90 capsule package will supply me for just over three weeks. Each capsule is loaded with thirteen legal stimulant herbs that all come down to caffeine. Supposedly, each dose will make me not feel hungry, or not as hungry, and I'll want to eat less, thus the "Eat all you want" sales pitch. I just took my first dose about an hour ago and I'm still thinking about a chocolate cupcake. I'll be sure to let you know how it all works out!

I think there's a reason she's half submerged - maybe they're hiding all her fat under the water. :)
