8. Skip the sugar and make your pies with Splenda.

9. Switch to spray on salad dressing instead of pouring it on.

10. Skip the croutons on your salad.

12. Get a small order of fries instead of a super size.

13. Have a Whopper Junior instead of a Whopper.

14. Make your sandwiches topless.

15. Spread your favorite cheese spread on sliced cucumbers or celery instead of crackers.

23. Use Molly McButter instead of butter or margarine on your baked potato.

25. Switch to Crystal Light or Sugar Free Tang instead of orange juice.

26. Eat an orange instead of having a glass of orange juice.

Great blog Lisa, especially #12 and #13. A friend of mine who needs to diet keeps whining about how he can't have fries, etc. I keep telling him he can have a burger and fries, just look for the lower calorie burgers and order a small order of fries (and don't feel compelled to eat them all!). And don't pack on the calories with a 32 ounce coke!

You're absolutely right, Libby! A 32oz Coke has 1/3 the recommended daily calorie intake for the average human. That's a whole meal. How many people drink that much soda with each meal?!

I like #7. I never really liked the crust anyway!

Yeah, the crust of a pie always seemed a bit unnecessary to me too.
