I am not a runner. I never have been and I never plan to be one. However, it is one of those fitness endeavors that I always wanted to do. Runners look so healthy and fit. They seem superior to the less fit humans on the planet somehow.

Have you heard of Peanut Butter Fingers? No, it isn't a new treat on the market it is a blog about fitness. I recently became aware of this blog while looking for workout routines I could effectively do in my home. Most home workouts are on DVD's or Netflix.

Missed My Water Aerobics

Well my first day of water aerobics came and I could not go because wouldn't you know it I had 2 kids home from school sick. Seriously this was the first time I had committed to exercise and it happens to fall on the same day my kids are home sick for the first time this year.

Bacon traditionally was thought of as evil to your diet. What self respecting dieter would be caught with bacon in her mouth? We have been told it was too high in fat and would eventually lead to an angioplasty.

National Peanut Butter Day

Today is National Peanut Butter Day! Peanut butter is about as American as apple pie. The only problem with peanut butter is that once you commit to losing weight the sheer amount of fat and calories causes you to give it up. Giving up peanut butter would be a shame.

OK so it has been 4 days on the new weight loss supplement that I mentioned in my last blog and so far I think it is going ok. I am not feeling jittery, or jumpy it is not affecting my sleep if anything I think I am sleeping a little bit better.

OK so I may have had a hiccup with my weight loss. I had broken my ankle about a year and a half ago and it was a very bad break. I broke a bone called the talus that is in my ankle.
